Description

jsut thought id add this here as i made this up the other night (we are going away so winding down all the food in the cupboard so this is what i came up with). it was a big hit with the family...

Ingredients

  • 6 sli Bacon chopped
  • 1 cn creamed corn
  • 1 pk frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 pn pieces of puff pastry thawed (could also use basic pastry shell)
  • 3 T plain flour
  • 2 T melted butter

Instructions

Pre heat oven to 160 , grease a flat baking tray

Cook spinach asper instructions.

chop bacon and lightly fry it up.   remove from heat.

once spinach is done drain and add to bacon (in the fry panbut does not need to be on heat-  just saves dishes Smile ) along with the remaining ingredients -  flour being the last add in.

 stir together.

place one piece of thawed puff  pastry on the baking tray.  pour the spinach mix over and spread it out toward the edges...  place the second piece of pastry on top and brush with melted butter. try topush the edges down a little but doesnt really matter.

put in the oven till the pastry is golden brown.

slice up and serve.

(i cut it into quarters)

was yummy
